  5. │ The L'Softwork Limited Programs are Weather Data Base Manager Applications.  │

  7. │                                IMPORTANT NOTE                                │
  8. │ The Programs and Data Files on the L'Softworks Limited Product and Database  │
  9. │ Disk(s) are shipped in compressed format. (The Shareware disk will contain a │
  10. │ single ZIP file that contains both the Program Files and the Data Files).    │
  11. │ The INSTALL procedure provided with your registered version of the program   │
  12. │ is used to uncompress the files and place the Programs and Data onto your    │
  13. │ Work Disk.  For the Shareware version, you must run the uncompression        │
  14. │ program PKUNZIP to decompress the Programs and Data.  (Available from your   │
  15. │ Shareware Distributor).                                                      │

  17. │ After you have run the INSTALL procedure to install the program, log to the  │
  18. │ disk drive that contains the program and data files and type:                │
  19. │                                                                              │
  20. │ LWEATHER or DAILY or <program name>  (depending on application(s) received)  │
  21. │                                                                              │
  22. │           A menu will appear from which you make your selections.            │
  23. │                                                                              │
  24. │ HELP files exist for each product.  For example LWEATHER.HLP for LWEATHER,   │
  25. │ DAILY.HLP for DAILY, DATABASE.HLP for HISTORY and LOGGER, and so on.  The    │
  26. │ HLP file is the on-disk copy of the Product User's Guide.  You receive a     │
  27. │ printer copy of the Product User's Guide when you register your software.    │

  29. │           Historical Records Files (used by LWEATHER and HISTORY)            │

  31. │ You can examine the data file ????????.REC and generate an identically       │
  32. │ formatted data file that contains historical information for your location.  │
  33. │ The data file can then be imported into the Records Data Base management     │
  34. │ routines of LWEATHER and accessed to give Historical Weather information.    │
  35. │                                                                              │
  36. │ Note: L'Softworks Limited can also prepare a Historical Data Set for you for │
  37. │       a city that you request.  The data preparation cost is only $15.00.    │

  39. │           Station Daily Log Data Files (used by LWEATHER and LOGGER)         │

  43. │ The data file can then be imported into the Station Log Data Base management │

  46. │ Note: If you have a large amount of data already collected and on a computer │
  47. │       diskette, L'Softworks Limited will prepare the initial Log Data Base   │
  48. │       for you if you send us the diskette.  (IBM-PC format only please).     │
